Macao once again welcomed the world’s best in table tennis at the WTT Champions Macao 2026 from September 8 to 13.
The singles tournament was jointly organised by the city’s Sports Bureau, World Table Tennis (WTT) – the global events platform for the professional sport – and Galaxy Entertainment Group, and co-organised by the Macau Table Tennis General Association.
The world’s top players competed in a series of lightning-speed matches at the Macao East Asian Games Dome, where Sweden’s 24-year-old Truls Moregard lifted his first Macao crown in the men’s competition, while Japan’s 18-year-old Miwa Harimoto claimed her third consecutive WTT Champions title of the 2026 season. The tournament also gave table tennis fans an opportunity to interact with their biggest idols.
